Had a great interview with Mailgun this week for search engine optimization specialist. Josh from Mailgun has been one of the best in the recruitment game, simply because he stays in touch with candidates! Every step of the way, Josh has provided a pathway as to where to go next and I thank him for that! I had applied for the remote SEO position of SEO Specialist.
So far have had a phone interview with Josh, a video interview with Nicole. And I had my 3rd interview and 2nd video interview with Nick on Tues August 6, 2019, but was the longest (an hour) and went by like nothing since we kept talking SEO shop. The GoT conversation and mention of the podcast by Reply All “#135: Robocall” was pretty interesting once I listened, highly recommended! Will make you think twice about installing apps and the permissions they ask for, if not already wary.
**Update 8/12/19**
It wasn’t episode #135 apparently, it was #121: Pain Funnel – which is about the shady side of addiction treatment centers, and how in Florida there are some very sketchy rehab centers preying on anyone with a medical insurance card. Highly recommended podcast to listen to if you get a chance!
SEO Specialist Position At MailGun
My interviewer Nick was very professional and also relaxed, which made the interview go rather smoothly, despite my everyday slipup of verbiage. I felt rather confident of the job task required and the ability to add new light into an already bright lighthouse. I know I have the experience and ability required to carry out all Mailgun’s Search Engine Optimization Specialist needs!
I look forward to the next steps that are ahead in the interviewing process and want to thank Mailgun, Josh, Nicole and Nick once again for their professionalism and courtesy.
